Pay a visit to Ånderdalen National Park at Senja island

The southern parts of Senja offers a beautiful national park with a family friendly and easy access point in Tranøybotn. A univerally designed hiking trail leads you pass the Vardnesmyra Nature Reserve and two kilometers to the Ånderdalen National Park boundary. The adventure continues into a fascinating pine forest, rich flora and fauna, birchtree woods, rivers, lakes and waterfalls, surrounded by a wild mountainious area with the peaks and fjord at the west.

The preservation of Ånderdalen is made to protect a natural habitat of old-growth pine forest, birch woodland and a mountain and fjord landscape, typical of coastal Troms County. The Ånderdalen National Park provides excellent areas for wildlife experiences.

A visit to any national park or nature for that matter, means to be nature`s guest. Follow the guidelines and make sure you leave it in the same way as you entered.
