The Ånderdalen National Park - guidet snowshoe hike
Senja Wild
An unforgettable winter experience
Snowshoeing is an amazing way of getting out in the nature at wintertime.
Our professional guides will share local knowledge of nature, history and culture. The hike starts at Norwegian Wild - Camp Tranøybotn, right nest to the entrance of the park.
Along the hike we find a good place to stop for making a bonfire and enjoy hot drinks and biscuits.
The Ånderdalen National Park covers an area across the island from fjord to fjord. It is a protected area of considerably intact natural habitat of old-growth pine forest, birch woodland and a mountain and fjord landscape that is typical of coastal Troms County.
This is a soft adventure hike at an easy level, but still requires you to be healthy.
November - April, depending on snow conditions
