Even for the campers, the island of Senja and Dyrøy is all about the same as the rest of the island: A wide selection of different camping sites, ranging from tiny to a bit larger, all of them all lying in beautiful surroundings with the space to breath.
Located in all corners of the region, you will find some by a blue lake surrounded by green woods and rolling hills and some by the seaside, next to the fjord and the wild mountains. Nearby, you can find beaches or a place to take a refreshing bath.
Some of the camping sites also offers cabins, rooms and apartments and might have a kiosk, cafè or restaurant on site or within short distance. There are nice facilities for campers and you might be able to book guidet excursions, hikes or fishing, rent your own equipment or get helpful guidelines of where to go and what to do. Some of the campsites are open all year round, others only for the season.
